The cigarette business unit reports a 3% increase in sales volume and records growth of both key markets and key brands
Rovinj, 13 August 2007 – In the first six months of the year, total revenues of Adris grupa amounted to 1.46 billion kunas, and sales revenues increased by 6.6 %. Operating profit amounted to 271.9 million kunas, whereas profit before taxation reached 360.2 million kunas and is up 7.3 % compared to the last year.
The cigarette business unit reported a 3% increase in sales volume and records growth of both key markets and key brands.
In the same report period, tourist business unit records a 12.6% increase in bednights compared to the same period in 2006. Due to demolition of dilapidated structures which are to be replaced with new hotels, 280 accommodation units or almost 8% of permanent structures will be out of use in the peak season. However, owing to increased booking activities and prolonged tourist season, better total results are expected to be produced relative to the last year.
