Rovinj, 14 August 2008 – In the first six months of the year, total revenues of Adris grupa amounted to 1.49 billion kunas, which is 2.2% up on the same period last year. Profit before taxation in the amount of 371.9 million kunas increased by 3.2 % in comparison with the first half of the last year. In the current report period one – time asset sale gain amounts to 20 million kunas - revenues and profit are increased by the specified amount accordingly.

 

The cigarette business unit reported a 6.9 % decrease in sales volume on the Croatian market and simultaneously growth in sales on the regional market. Preparations for entrance into two new markets have been completed.

 

In the same report period, tourist business unit records 1% increase in bednights compared to the same period in 2007. Prices have grown by an average of 10%.

 

Construction of the first Maistra 5-star hotel within the Rovinj - Vrsar destination, Monte Mulini, will be completed by mid September. The present products (TV Belvedere, TV Petalon, TV Blesička) have been improved and now offer higher quality in accordance with the strategy of their positioning into a higher price segment.
