Adris grupa is continuing the planned investment cycle

Rovinj, 22 December 2008 – In the session of Adris' Supervisory Board held in Rovinj today, President of the Management Board, Mr. Ante Vlahović, informed the Supervisory Board members about the present situation of the company and plans for the next year. He particularly pointed out that the realized results were in accordance with expectations.
Regarding the 2009 Plan, Mr. Vlahović drew special attention to the new operating circumstances – changes in excise tax system, infavourable business environment and lower living standard which would affect the company's operating results in the period to come. In spite of this, the company will, thanks to «sharp rationalization of business activities», reduction in costs, existing investments and appearance on new markets, continue to operate stably. „What we do today may not give responses to every need of the company, its owners and employees, but most certainly this is the most we can do for its sustainable future», Vlahović said.
As concluded, Adris grupa will continue its investment cycle and is going to invest almost 500 million kunas next year, mostly in tourism, in construction of a new 5-star hotel – Lone and outbuilding of Hotel Istra on the island of Sv. Andrija.
During the day, supervisory boards of the companies within Adris grupa held their meetings, too – TDR, Maistra, Istragrafika, Hrvatski duhani, TDZ, iNovine and Rovinjturist. The supervisory boards of Rovinjturist and Maistra made a decision to start merger of Rovinjturist and Maistra.
According to the decision made by Adris' Management Board, TDR will have a five-member Management Board as of 1 January 2009. The Management Board will comprise of Davor Tomašković, President of the Management Board, Josip Lozančić and Goran Markulin, as deputies, and Ivan Leko and Maja Đemidžić, as members.
