With the acquisition of the companies Jadran-turist d.d. Rovinj and Anita d.d. Vrsar by Tvornica duhana Rovinj, one of the most successful companies in Croatia, a new development cycle was initiated in these two Adriatic tourism pearls in 2001.
The new owner set out ambitious plans for the development of its tourism portfolio and for the creation and building up of a brand of tourism products and services of the highest quality, with the goal of positioning these hotels among the best in the Mediterranean. In order to ensure the implementation of these set goals, Tvornica duhana Rovinj established its own management company called Adria Resorts which, in cooperation with the world’s best experts, will manage the tourism facilities in Rovinj and Vrsar.
Today, Adria Resorts manages the tourism portfolio comprised of a total of 9 hotels with 1897 rooms or accommodation units, 7 complexes with 2261 units and 6 camps with 7520 units, presenting a total accommodation capacity of almost 34,000 guests daily.

The ownership expectations are directed towards creating a new development vision for both companies, in the function of taking over an adequate position on the market and achieving financial results appropriate for the company’s market potential, in line with the standards of the international hotel industry and the completely altered position of Istria and Croatia on the international tourism market.
Adria Resorts is in a phase of intensive preparations of an Asset Management Plan and projects of building new tourism complexes, and in the next three years will develop its own brands for various types and segments of tourism projects: brands for hotels, apartment complexes and camps. This is aimed at increasing the quality of services and standards and the development of a high quality tourism product with content that will satisfy even the most demanding guests, thereby justifying the trust of its partners.
